2022 has passed in the blink of an eye, and as we head into the final few weeks of the year, we’re still tackling some great games to enjoy on the Switch.

It’s not the busiest holiday season we’ve ever seen, but there are still plenty of rides in November and December. You’ll find a selection of our hand-picked premium titles below, as well as plenty of other games and accessories to be launched over the next couple of months. Square Enix’s newest RPG, Harvestella, arrives as a Switch console exclusive on November 4.

This game makes you take care of your crops, make friends, face enemies in “dynamic” combat and more as you explore the game world through the changing seasons. However, perhaps the most interesting part is the basic plot of the game, in which you will be tasked with unraveling the mystery of “Quietus”, the season of death. Auer.

One of the most interesting Sonic titles in a good while is accelerating to Switch very soon already, as Sonic Frontiers launches for the system on November 8th.

With an all-new “open platform” system at its core, as well as a fantasy battle system and skill tree to contend with, Frontiers Sonic takes Sonic in a completely different direction than we’re used to. You’re stranded on an ancient island and searching for the missing Chaos Emeralds, but you’ll need to help him face hordes of enemies while exploring the game’s five islands to find them.

Making us feel older than we already feel, Pokémon Scarlet & Violet presents the franchise ninth Jill on November 18th.

This time, trainers are invited to explore the new Paldea region, finding new people and Pokemon along the way. Promising a “sprawling land of vast open spaces” to discover, the new games seem to be heading in a more modern direction, allowing players to freely go back and forth between three different story modes and even play the eight gyms scattered across the region in any order. Yes, on December 9th, Square Enix is ​​scheduled to launch the Dragon Quest Treasures. Played by Erik and Mia from Dragon Quest XI – well, the younger versions of the pair to be exact – and set in the mysterious land of Draconia. Expect to race over open fields, climb slopes, and slide over massive chasms in search of this titular treasure.

Eric and his sister Mia live on a Viking longship, dreaming of the day they can explore the world in search of the great treasure. One night they encounter a pair of other creatures, Porcus and Purrsula, and move away to a mysterious place known as Draconia – a mythical land full of treasures waiting to be discovered. Finally, the adventure that Eric and Mia have always dreamed of begins!

An HD version of Final Fantasy VII’s prequel, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion lands on Switch on December 13.

This new editor includes all new HD graphics, revamped 3D models, an improved combat system, fully voice-over dialogue in English and Japanese, as well as a freshly arranged soundtrack from the original composer, Takeharu Ishimoto.
