Pee Dee Healthy Start will expand its job skills training program and expand its reach into the community
Columbia, South Carolina – October 20, 2022 – Spectrum announces that Pee Dee Healthy Start has received $50,000 through Spectrum Community Assist, the company’s five-year, $30 million philanthropic initiative to revitalize local community centers and invest in job training programs in rural and rural areas. Spectrum launched the partnership on Saturday, October 22 at 10:30 a.m. with a refreshment event in the center at 520 Thurgood Marshall Boulevard, Kingstree where employees and community volunteers will deliver repairs and other physical improvements to the facility.

Pee Dee Healthy Start will receive $50,000 to strengthen the job skills training curriculum, family development programs and various facility improvements.
