The 2022-2023 NBA season continues on Tuesday (November 1) with only eight teams scheduled to play.

On that note, let’s take a look at three team bets for tonight’s performance, including the Golden State Warriors, Brooklyn Nets, and Phoenix Suns.

Best Bet #1 for an NBA Team: Golden State Warriors ML (-105)

After winning the NBA championship last season, the Golden State Warriors struggled in that championship.

After finishing last season third in opponents points per game and first in the defensive rankings, the Warriors ranked 30th and 23rd in the two categories, respectively. While they have scored the most points per league game, their offensive ranking is only 18th. Despite playing elite Steve Curry, the Warriors are 3-4 on the season.

And their opponent, the Miami Heat, performed even worse, having finished last season with the best record in the Eastern Conference. The Heat ranks 2-5, due in large part to their faltering attacking team that ranks 26th in points per game and 23rd in the offensive rankings. Miami’s top defense faltered from last season as well, ranking 11th in opponent points per game and 19th in defensive rankings.

This will be the two teams’ second meeting in less than a week, with Golden State winning their first game. Look for the Warriors to beat Miami for the second time in five days.

Best Bet #2 for an NBA Team: Brooklyn Nets -2 (-110)

The Brooklyn Nets haven’t lived up to expectations this season. After the match started with a score of 2-5, the Nets coach Steve Nash was sent off.

Sources told ESPN that the Nets fired Steve Nash.

While Ben Simmons was expected to help improve their defense, this was not the case at first.

The net is ranked 28th in the opponent’s points per match and 30th in the defensive classification. However, they will face the Chicago Bulls who went 3-4 on the season. Look for the Nets to come out excited under coach Jack Vaughn and win at least three points.

Best bet #3 for an NBA team: Phoenix Suns -3.5 (-110)

The Phoenix Suns were one of the best teams in the NBA on both sides of the ball.

The Suns attack ranks second in points per game and first in offensive rating, while their defense ranks third in opponent’s points per game and fourth in defensive rating. Their play both ways was reflected in their 5-1 season record.

Their opponents, the Minnesota Timberwolves, struggled for a 4-3 record. Their trip to Phoenix will be their toughest test early in the season, as they have yet to face a title contender. Look for Phoenix to continue his early season success by winning this match by at least four points.
