After one year with the Philadelphia 76ers, the eight-time All-Star returned to the Lakers in 2021-22. Recently, the 7-foot-tall Lakers player expressed his desire to return to the NBA alongside Stephen Curry at the Golden State Warriors.

Howard expressed his desire to play for the Golden State Warriors during a recent interview with NFL legend Shannon Sharp. Chai tea club Audio notation. Sharp asked Howard what he thought of playing with the Warriors. The former Lakers center stated that he has been a lifelong warrior since school. The 36-year-old has put forward some compelling arguments as to why Warriors chose him.

Dwight Howard believes he can make the Warriors team better with his abilities and experience. Moreover, he suggested that 21-year-old James Wiseman learn how to become a dependable big guy in the league from him.

Furthermore, Howard continued, “Steve, the way he opens up, with me putting up the screens, he’s going to open up more wide. Clay [Thompson] same way. Draymond [Green] In Pick-and-Roll me and him. Being able to teach Wiseman how to play defense, how to block shots.”

Howard explained that the Warriors needed a man who was big and could take charge. He felt that Stephen Curry, Thompson, Green and other youngsters on the team could benefit from having him this season.

He also indicated that he is not finished yet and would like to play his 19th season before he says goodbye to the NBA.

Dwight Howard was named the first overall pick with the Orlando Magic in the 2004 NBA Draft. He remained with the franchise until 2012, before signing with the Los Angeles Lakers. Howard established his importance on both sides of the field while playing for many teams in the NBA.

Unfortunately, the past few seasons have been tough for Howard towards the end of his career. Last season, Dwight Howard played 60 games for the Lakers, averaging 6.2 points and 5.9 rebounds per game.

Thus, it would be a tough bet for warriors to put their money on to the ancient warrior. However, it will be interesting to see if the former Lakers star’s recent comments elicit a response from the Warriors.
