However, Paul George is confident of putting his injury issues behind him after a grueling off season and is issuing a warning that will frighten the rest of the NBA, especially with reports of Kawhi Leonard’s health,
Talking to ESPN’s Om YoungmisukGeorge said, “I’m excited… you’re going to see the best of PG this season.” George also added that the only downtime he had while on vacation was when he went to Italy for his wedding.

Paul George will be looking to enter next season with a vengeance. Clippers fans were excited about what George was about to achieve last season without Leonard, especially after his performance in 2021 after the 2021 season that saw him put the Clippers on his back against the Utah Jazz, which they went out without Leonard, and the Phoenix Suns, whom they eventually lost in six games to .
Unfortunately for George, his elbow had other ideas, forcing him to miss most of the season. But when he played PG, he did some damage, averaging 24.3 points. 6.9 rebounds, the highest scored 5.7 assists per night. The Clippers had hoped that the BJ’s return towards the end of last season would lead to a deep playoff round in the lower seededs, but they ended up losing to the Minnesota Timberwolves during their first game of play, and then making things worse after that. George couldn’t sue the New Orleans Pelicans in a do-or-die game due to COVID protocols.
With Kawhi Leonard and Paul George up there for years (31 and 32, respectively), the Clippers need to maximize their window, and there may be no better time than the present, as the Clippers’ depth is arguably the best in the league. If Leonard and George are really healthy, there may be no more terrifying team in the NBA than the Clippers.
