Ayr, Queensland – (Newsfile Corp. – September 23, 2022) – Health Food Symmetry Ltd (HFS) has become the first company in the world to launch a nutritional solution called Kfibre that delivers prebiotics from virgin sugarcane to benefit gut health. The human digestive system, or gut, is home to trillions of bacteria that collectively make up the gut microbiome. Any kind of imbalance between good and bad gut bacteria is closely associated with a variety of chronic diseases including type 2 diabetes, nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, obesity, and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). HFS is the first company to manufacture and market a dietary fiber called Kfibre. HFS has a chemical-free process to create a patented sugarcane product that retains phytonutrients and functional bio-fibers in the plant while the sugar is removed.
Everyone’s gut microbiome varies with their iris and fingerprint. Even for the same person, the gut microbiome changes over a period of time depending on their diet choices. What people eat can affect their gut health and when they take fiber components to boost gut health, it can have a beneficial effect on metabolism and immunity. Ensuring a person has a healthy gut microbiome can be key to preventing a wide range of chronic diseases.
Kfibre manufactured by HFS is the only gut-healthy prebiotic derived from virgin sugar cane. Trials conducted in conjunction with academic partners such as the University of Queensland, the University of Tasmania and Southern Cross University have demonstrated that the product is effective in supporting constipation, regularity, indigestion, food bloating, and supporting the microbiome. Currently, HFS has patents for symptomatic relief of gastroesophageal reflux/reflux disease, inflammatory bowel disease, and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease. When Kfibre is taken with probiotics, Kfibre prebiotic has been shown to enhance the effect of the probiotics and significantly help increase the diversity and quantity of beneficial gut bacteria.
Commenting on the company’s innovative operation, product range and plans for the future, Gordon Edwards, CEO of HFS, said, “Currently, psyllium husk or Isabgol is primarily used for fiber ingredients. There have been supply chain issues with sourcing psyllium husk on a global basis due to the impact of floods and the pandemic. In countries like Bangladesh and India.Kfibre has emerged as an attractive alternative in this context and many companies like our distributor,Tismor are now replacing psyllium husks with Kfibre in their solutions. We supply Kfibre at both wholesale and retail levels and supply our products to both mixer companies and retailers. We currently have three products for sale Retail with two new targeted nutritional products launched every four to six months There are products specifically designed for a wide range of conditions such as support for constipation, indigestion and bloating We have entered into numerous national and global distribution agreements We are even planning to expand our global footprint in markets such as China where We started our social media marketing campaigns as a prelude to our launch.”
